The race takes place in the Kintamani area, renowned for its breathtaking scenery. The course is designed to circle Lake Batur, nestled between two mountains—Mount Batur and Mount Abang—offering participants spectacular panoramic views throughout the event.
Since 2025, BTR has introduced a new ultra category, the 100 KM, to provide an added challenge for participants who have successfully completed the 85 KM Ultra category in previous years. This new category also features a different route with a distinct challenge, highlighting Bali’s highest peak, Mount Agung.
BTR Ultra (BTRU) 2026 will be held from May 15–17, 2026, featuring five race categories: 100K, 80K, 60K, 30K, 18K, and 7K.
